Licensed Veterinary Technician

Meet Jane, our esteemed licensed Veterinary Technician, whose expertise and dedication have been a cornerstone of Rose Hill since March 2007. With an impressive academic background, Jane earned her B.S. in Animal Science from Virginia Tech, followed by an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology.

Jane’s journey into veterinary care is rooted in a lifelong commitment to animal welfare and husbandry. Before joining our team, she served as a Vocational Agriculture teacher in Fauquier County. Later, she managed Hungry Run Farm in Rappahannock County for 25 years, overseeing a herd of Angus cattle and a barn full of horses. In addition to her managerial responsibilities, Jane also served as an A.I. technician, breeding several large herds of cattle in the county.

A true fixture of Rappahannock County, Jane has called it home since graduating from Virginia Tech in 1974, alongside her husband and daughters. Outside of her professional endeavors, she finds joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it’s tending to her garden, bush hogging, or spending quality time with her beloved dogs and cats.

Jane’s wealth of experience, coupled with her unwavering passion for animal care, enriches our practice and ensures the highest standards of veterinary care for our patients. We are honored to have her as an integral part of our team at Rose Hill.
